Defile Na Neve October 2011
24th season of Defile Na Neve fashion week in St Petersburg has just ended and as I’m browsing through the runway pictures at their website I can’t help gritting my teeth with disappointment.
Evidently, in a city with a population of only 4.5 million people there is no place for two fashion weeks. Defile is losing it to Aurora Fashion Week, which is young, fresh and charging ahead. The absence of beautiful models at Defile makes me think they were all booked for Aurora. And the collections… where do I start? Defile Na Neve used to be so much better.
There were a couple of collections that I liked, though. Stay tuned for an update on that.
