Bohemique Demi Couture S/S 2013 Lookbook

Non-nonsense sensuality and refined femininity are evidently the heart and soul of the young Russian fashion label Bohemique.

The recently released images of their Demi Couture S/S 2013 collection show 36 dramatic looks inspired by renown Hollywood beauties like Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monro, whose timeless appeal corresponds well to the signature aesthetics of the label. The collection offers the already familiar Bohemique elements like peplums, intricate lace, accentuated shoulders, suspender belts, basque and superb tailoring.

The designers stay consistent with their vision of mysterious, yet unapologetic sexuality, which translates well into elegant dresses and trouser sets executed in eye-catching black, white and red. Combining evening attire and lingerie, they create equally sophisticated and daring pieces, while the recurring focus on the accentuated shoulders, waist and ankles – traditionally seen as sensual and provoking areas of the female body – adds to the overall impression of the refined sumptuousness.

Continuing to experiment with delicate headwear, Bohemique designers produce yet another solid collection that clearly reflects the desire to evolve and cultivate the look that after only four seasons is already synonymous with the brand.
