For over 2 years of its existence, AFWR turned from ambitious local project into third largest Fashion Week in Eastern Europe, uniting on its events more than 20 thousands professionals and passionate admirers of fashion-industry. In the last five seasons AFWR was visited by Thom Browne, Costume National, David Koma, Custo Barcelona, Mark Fast and many others. But the main mission of AURORA FASHION WEEK Russia is to promote interesting and talented Russian designers.

Organizers always work hard to improve the project and this year the program will be even more interesting, and there will be even more famous guests. “Manezh” space will be divided into two thematic halls – “Malevich” and “Tchaikovsky”, where would take its place fashion shows of approximately 40 designers. The names weren’t picked accidentally – Kazimir Malevich and Piotr Tchaikovsky, two creative geniuses, who had been living directly near to Konnogvardeisky Manezh, in which the fashion show of AFWR would pass. “Tchaikovsky” is the grandiose style symphony, the spacious bright hall, “Malevich” – laconic dark space, inspired by suprematic masterpiece of the great artist.

Eight season of AURORA FASHION WEEK Russia will involve dozens of designers, established stars of fashion industry and young talents, special programs and lectures, thousands of guests – as well as fashion industry professionals, and its passionate admirers, who also want to become a part of the magical atmosphere of International Fashion Week.
