Oscar de la Renta for The Outnet

Parisians have Chanel, Milanese have Armani, we New Yorkers have Oscar de la Renta. The designer whose name has been synonymous with ‘luxury’ for more than 40 years has just launched an exclusive collection for online retailer The Outnet. The collection allows ODLR fans to get their hands on beautiful pieces for a fraction of the cost of the iconic designer’s main line. With prices from $315 for a top to $995 for a dress it is a steal!

To create 24 covetable pieces, the designer and his team tapped into their “underused” archives. As Oscar de la Renta CEO Alex Bolen told WWD, “perhaps we can put something together in a way that is new, that doesn’t require as much development time and in an exclusive way.” The result – all items have timeless and chic look than cannot be mistaken for any other designer’s work.

Style icon and blogger Olivia Palermo is starring in the video teaser and lookbook.

Vogue Launches in Ukraine

Vogue Launches in Ukraine

Ukraine has finally got their own edition of Vogue, the magazine’s 20th, that came with a shiny new website and a page on Facebook. Vogue is following the lead of Harper’s Bazaar and Elle which have been published in Ukraine for 4 and 12 years respectively.

One can’t have too much of a good thing, you say? Well… Vogue Ukraine editor-in-chief Masha Tsukanova sparked a controversy with her answer to the question “why publish the magazine in Russian and not in the national language?” She said: “When people start buying publications in Ukrainian, then magazines like Vogue will be in Ukrainian. As soon as the first happens, the second will immediately follow. In the meantime, we want to be profitable.”
