International magazine Numéro launches a Russian edition as part of a license partnership between Groupe Alain Ayache and ARTCOM Media Group, one of the Russia’s leading media companies that runs a number of online and offline publications.
Numéro Russia will become a 5th edition of the magazine worldwide, following successful launches of Numéro Tokyo, Numéro China and Numéro Thailand. Starting from March 2013, the magazine will be published ten times a year, plus a semi-annual Numéro Homme.
“Over the last ten years Russians have shown great interest in fashion and luxury and the launch of Numéro Russia is yet another sign of this growing demand,” said Nathalie Ayache, publisher and EIC of Numéro France. “In post-crisis Russia, many fashion publications are gradually losing their influence due to increased sophistication of their audience that they cannot keep up with”, – added Alexander Fedotov, president of ARTCOM Media Group. “Numéro doesn’t set trends but inspires to create and experiment. There are many intelligent, independent and sophisticated women in Russia, and this is the magazine for them.”
Editor-in-chief and the rest of Numéro Russia’s editorial team will be announced in late January.
